How this feed is made
ActiveInvestorMag.com is a newsfeed for investors assembled by a machine and curated by a human. Twice a day, a Claude model reads the last 48 hours of about 300 RSS feeds chosen by Teresa Lo, groups the items that describe the same event into stories, and writes one short article per story using only the published excerpts. Every fact sentence carries a chip naming the outlet it came from; the chip links to the original.
No human writes or checks an article before it appears. A set of automated checks does: an article is rejected if a story rests on a single outlet, if a citation points nowhere, if it is too short or too long, or if it contains a number that does not appear in a cited source. What was rejected, and why, is on the log.
The categories
The categories are the feed list's own, and the feed list is the editorial choice. They follow the frameworks Teresa Lo uses in her own research rather than a newspaper's sections.
